RawTherapee is Open Source software that reads and processes various image
file formats, including some (or many) RAW formats. Since the RAW-reading
software is available, this might be a good tool to use to reverse-engineer the
RAW file format used by DJI in the "early" P2V's camera.
Does anybody have experience with this free image processing software from
http://www.rawtherapee.com/
Apparently their latest version is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Yes, I realize that the DJI-RAW format will be obsolete as soon as DJI
updates to using the DNG format for their "raw" camera images, so it
is hardly worth the effort now.
Are there any P2V users who have invested enough time in capturing images
in the "original" DJI-RAW format, and would really like to be able to use them?
Although I suspect not, the project might only take a week, starting with
what we (you) know already. Somebody said they managed to extract
a picture, although the colors were... strange, right?
