RC with built in screen

Is the RC with the built in screen compatible with the P4? I bought a new P4 early December and have been using my phone for the screen as my IPad2 is not compatible. I was thinking I'd prefer to get the RC with built in screen vs a new tablet.

The P4P+ remote controller is not compatible with the P4. It seems like DJI might have plans to make it compatible at some point in the future though since they answered this question with "currently no" in the P4P FAQ.

That's annoying! I'm sorry I misspoke OP.

I was going off of this from tech support

DJI tech support doesn't always provide the best answers. I just tried to link my P4P remote controller to my P4 and it failed to link.
