RC question/ adjusting the CE/FCC

Been reading in the manual and on line about adjusting the CE/FCC on the back of the RC. Any of you guys fooled with this or is it best just to leave it alone.

Since you live in the US, you should keep it in FCC mode (like it was when you purchased it).

What I didn't understand was turning the fitting more to the FFC, does this give it longer range or does it really matter

Yes, FCC mode gives the remote controller longer range. But, that's how it was setup when you received it, so there is no need to modify those settings.
