I got my snap on ND8 filter today and its rubber was too hard so I needed to peel the edge of it so it can be mounted. While doing that I made 3-4mm thin scratch on the glass. Will that be the problem for videos ? It is almost invisible but it is there. I dont think it can be a problem but better to ask.

Probably not, it might just cause a refraction effect when pointing towards sun.

after reading this article, I am not so **** about how clean my lens or filters are, not sure how a scratch would affect it though:

The wide angle, fixed focus and locked aperture of a phantom might not be so forgiving, however a fine scratch is unlikely to affect it much
