Range boosting apps?

Any truth to this? I am in the UK and will be receiving my drone next week ☺

I don't want my signal strength being turned down because of my locality, is there any other way besides a physical mod?

Oh I see no good for me but out of interest does it work?

I'm thinking the only real solution is a dbs mods Antenna?

It does increase the Phantom 2 wifi power output which in theory can increase the range
In the real world it doesn't always make much difference, and there's a suspicion that routine use could generate additional heat and damage the transmitter module.
The EU version of P3 has rather reduced power output but in good line of sight conditions the range is not noticeably affected.

Thanks, I've ordered the dbs mods Antenna now anyway ☺
Seems the only real ,reliable way to keep in range.
