RAF Stenigot

Nice. What are the grass mounds near there behind the hedgerows?

I'm not sure, there are remains of the old base, and a house that was on the station. The dishes have been moved away from there original position but I can't make out the old position of them.

Thanks, I was just curious. Looks like the road in front had a couple of raised grass mounds just befor the deadend road to the dishes.

However I am likely looking at an old satellite image.

It had a fence round it when it was RAF owned, the farmer bought the dishes and moved them onto his land, but now its all one field so I'm guessing at some point he bought the land from the RAF. Now they make good shelter for the sheep.
