There are times when I want to launch in long grass. I did not really want to spend $20+ for the camera guard so I picked up some plastic from Home Depot for $2.50 and went to down with my Dremel. Took about 10 minutes to draw it and another 5 to cut it out. It's very crude but it looks like it will get the job done. I made it wider then the landing gear so that it would fit tightly. Can't make it too tight or it bows. Don't know if I'll tie wrap it on as I don't know that I'd want to fly with it all of the time. I'm not sure if anythng would cause it to call out while flying but it was $2.50. Not sure how it will react to the wind. I did cut a few extra holes in it. I could always cut a few more.

I could cut out a couple of hook shapes and use rubber bands, so that it could be removed.
