Question on this booster (not device specific)

I'm trying to boost the signal To my son's phantom 3 (yes I know but a pro- lol)

I have an argtek and using an Alfa antenna for RC and we're only getting about 2800-3000 feet and we want more - now before you guys yell at me and tell me to buy a better bird can you look at this 5.8 signal booster and tell me if this will give me the boost I desire ?

I have a 6x18650 battery box that outputs 12v and I have all the wiring - was wondering if I can just hook this up to my 12v battery box instead of using a 3s or 4s lipo (which I don't have)

But basically it says

D.C. In range 12-16v
Lithium battery 3s-4s
But then it says battery run time 4.2 to 3.7


So that means 12v is ok right ?

It's not clear what you're flying but I have to assume it's a P3S.

Just buy a sunhans amp. It's the only one that works. All the others suck.

You can power it with this little battery: Batteries

While you're at it, throw away the Argtek and get an ITELITE.
