Question on Height from ground iOSD mini

    You can see in the picture it shows my height at 4 meters meanwhile I'm at least 150-200 ft above a canyon. I'm assuming that 4 meters is the height above my launch point only since my home point was on a mountain above this canyon. If that's true then is there no display on my screen that would tell me height above ground below? Thanks for any info

    Correct, that will only show (approximate) height from launch point. The Phantom has no way to know how far it is above the actual ground so it can only go by whatever position is set as home.

    I figured that would be the case. It's not critical but would be nice to know info. I see helicopters once in a while in this canyon / valley area but they should be at least at 500ft. I haven't seen one yet flying low through the valley but higher than I was from my launch point on that mountain.
