I'm a newbie with 9 flights under my belt. My question is at what percent charge should I store my battery when I'm done for the day and may not fly for another week or two? Should I charge the battery full and let it drain itself with the internal schedule or put it away at low charge? My battery was at 18% after my last flight Sunday and I did not charge it before putting it away. Is this wrong? Thanks

Best to store them at 30 percent to 50 percent. Something close to those numbers would work. If they are stored and not touched they will discharge at 3 to 10 days depending on your setting. Don't charge them up in order to auto discharge them.

Regarding your question, I haven't yet run any of my batteries that low. And I don't think it's healthy leaving it in the 18% area. Since they don't seem to have the memory problem that the older-technology Li-Ion batteries had, you might consider charging the battery partially to get it up to the 40-50% level. MHO.
