Question about camera lag

Hi All,

I apologize if this has been discussed before, I went back about a dozen pages and couldn't find anything about it...

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to have some amount of lag time in the response of the camera?

This problem is more noticeable when the aircraft is a little further away, but not so far that it should have bad connectivity (about 500 feet or so)

What I mean is, I will have a nice clear picture, but when I adjust the camera tilt, or turn the phantom a little bit, the picture on the iPhone app takes a second or two to catch up.

Is this normal?

Everything else with my vision is fine - no flyways, no crashes, nothing like that.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Yes, conditions of course will vary this kind of thing, however. Some lag is not only normal, but expected, as the signals that carry the video stream take time to reach your receiver, your phone or tablet has to process the image before it's displayed, etc., etc.
