Ok. I crashed my p3s. The drone worked ok but the roll arm and yaw were bent. The gimal worked, i could fly the drone through the DJI go app. The problem was the camera would not record. I figured the ribbon cable was damaged. I replaced the roll and yaw arm and replaced the ribbon with a genuine DJI ribbon cable. I excitedly put the gimbal back on. NOW ive got no movement from the gimbal. I turn it on and it connects and the gimbal it dead. I can record though. Any clue what my problem now is?

Same problem here. Replaced yaw and roll arms and cable. Gimbal will not move . Camera works ( have not tried to record ). Phantom flies fine.
I borrowed a working gimbal/Cam. Replaced it. Everything works fine.
Then I tried swapping only the PC board. Problem still exists???
So in my case the only thing left is the ribbon cable which is new!
Ughhh..wish there was a block diagram or schematics or at least a parts list!
