Propeller Protector rope?

    Im new at this forum, and I got this question, I just got my Propellers protector and I know some people put a nilon rope between the covers. Im attaching and image.

    the rope is supposed to be strung up like that. just leave it alone. keep calm and carry on.

    Yours looks fine. I use the ropes as well, hopefully I'll never NEED them but I'm glad they're there.

    Sorry, buyt my question is about this mini rope... What is supossed to do? Stability?

    Since the plastic prop guards have that gap the rope it there to stop things going in between
