Greeting all phantomers,

I crashed my phantom a couple of times and I ran out of spare props. I live in the UK, Hobbyking http://www.hobbyking.com or Giantshark http://www.giantshark.co.uk have props for sale, but I don´t know which size I need, especially because the holes look different from other propellers.
:!: :?:

Thanks in advance, guys !

Not sure of the shops in the UK, but imagine others will chime in.
here's one link that should work: http://quadcopters.co.uk/dji-propeller-set-8-278-p.asp

the DJI Phantom white props are out of stock everywhere, but there are a number of shops selling the black 8" props
for the F330-450 - which are an exact match for the Phantom (only in black).
you can do a search for : DJIPRP8
and get a number of hits perhaps.

there's also Graupner props, which are rather pricey (ideal once you get the hang of flying and have gone thru a few more plastic props   :D)

That is a really good answer! Thank you. I will buy 3 full sets ;-) just to be sure I don´t run out.

Just by chance, do you know where to get the nuts, in case I lose one ?

Glad I could help.

well, the genuine DJI Phantom nuts seem to be on backorder as well.
(tho I assume the same nuts for the F330, 450 and 550 would work, as they use the same props and motors).

there's a few threads on here about nuts..
most hardware stores will have size M6 nuts that will work. Tho you might also want to consider the nylon-lock ones that will stay snug.

However, if you want to keep using the ones that came with your Phantom, be sure before each flight that they're on secure.
and you can also very carefully apply Loctite/threadlock to the threads, being careful not to get any of the stuff on the plastic props. - that will ensure they won't come lose in flight.
