I have been flying for a bit over a week now. Usually go up twice a day AM/PM. I noticed in looking at some video, that some folks are using blade guards. How important are they, and if they are important does anyone have suggestions as to which ones to get as there seem to be a lot of them on-line.

Same here, if I am close to people I prefer putting them on and actually I am more concerned that they will get to close even when I amtrying keeping my distance. I got the dji guards they are not expensive plus I know they fit perfectly. Other then that I don't use them.

They are great for flying indoors -- since there are usually a lot of obstacles nearby.

Here are a few commonly used prop guard brands:

If you need prop guards, maybe it's time to re-evaluate your piloting skillset.

Other than to insult the OP, what purpose did that serve?

It served the purpose of telling the OP that they are a worthless POS and if they were needed, every multi manufacturer in the world would have them stock from the factory. They are an unnecessary accessory created to solely provide a false sense of security to a captive audience.

As far as offending the OP, I'm quite certain you don't speak for him, so speak for yourself or keep your comments to yourself.
