These are not stainless, I think, but only about $20 USD for one shipped in the USA, and $27 for two.
These threads might not be well centered, which would make them unsuitable for balancing.

The stainless rods from the UK are £17.79 each (about $30?) shipped to the USA,
but most likely much higher precision, I expect.

I bought a hobby knife kit and screwed of the blades and picked one the will fit the motor threads. Unfortunately I can only balance two motors in this way because the other two are left hand threads:-(

I just ordered 2 prop balancing rods from the gentleman on this forum in Europe who makes them. Today, I find these available in the US. Clost to the same price: http://www.midwestcontrol.com/part.php? ... 7Aod0SoAGQ

This could be used for balancing the motor: http://www.midwestcontrol.com/part.php?id=3300. I am still looking for a better solution for balancing the motors. I saw someone had utilized a piece from a center punch on the forum, but I can't find that piece anywhere...
Count, copy your post and paste it at the end if the following thread so Glen and the rest of those interested in balancing Vision props will see it & can comment: http://www.phantompilots.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5371

Let mine be the last post here and let it fall off Page-1.

Thanks,
