Problems with IOC

So I have had my dji phantom for 2 days now, first day it has flown perfect with IOC on. However this morning when I flew my Phantom 1. when in course lock, the phantom went in a completely different direction when I pushed the right stick forward.

I've reset the compass and IMU Calibration and it still does the same thing.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

To be sure we're on the same page here...
Course Lock (CL) remembers/stores the direction the quad was facing a bit after IMU warm-up and before taking off if your pre-flight procedure was correct.

So let's say the arms with the colored stripes are/were facing North at take-off.

Now when you are flying and engage CL no matter what direction the quad is pointing currently it will move North when the right stick is pushed forward.

So if we agree that is correct then maybe you have reset CL inflight (S2 form top to middle and back 3-5 times) or you have a possible compass problem.

Can you elaborate as to your exact experience?
