Problem with the transmitter of Phantom 2

Hello..

I have a problem with the Phantom 2 transmitter,
If i have to power on the transmitter for about a week the green led that indicates the status of transmitter blinks red and then stay solid red.
I power off and then on again and everything is ok.The led is solid green and the proper sound beeps , and Phantom is totally controlable.

What probably is??If anyone knows please answer me..

I haven't change batteries until now..

With the controller turned off connect it to your computer the LED will turn red if it needs to be charged so leave it the charger till green and your ready to go.
