NEED ASSISTANCE PLEASE!

From the perspective of looking at the lens of PV2 camera, the right side of camera has a mount (shown in photo) that has some sort of screw (not sure, mine is gone) or pin and two plastic pieces (I have one as you can see in photo, I believe the other one snaps on top of this one) that insert into the gearbox allowing camera to function as designed. ANY ideas on what that part is i.e name or part # or suggestions on how/where to fix. Creative workarounds are welcome.

Hopefully the photo is beneficial for someone to identify what part(s) are missing

Thanks in advance for your support!!!

Brad

You are looking for a standard M1.5x4 screw, found in most standard micro/mini servos. See attached picture for details. The rubber plug is only for apperances, has no real functionality.

DK Darkness you bring light to my issue, I can't thank you enough, you are a good man!! I will be on the hunt for my replacement tomorrow.

You are awesome!!

Cheers Mate!

One more question for you my friend, any clue on where to locate, I just did a quick full scope search for this piece of hardware and I don't see anything with the exception of a bone screw for an implant for $80. I don't want you to do my research for me, just wondering if you know off hand where to find.

Cheers Mate!

You should find it in a specialised electronics store, are radio shack still around in the states? Maplins if in the UK and Ireland.

Thanks for the response. I have checked all the local hobby shops, big box retailers, small hardware stores......no luck. I am going to call DJI today to see if they have a suggestion. I even went online and searched for this part with absolutely no luck. I am a CFO with no mechanical experience so I am researching a potential conversion from metric over to SAE. If anyone has any other ideas on where to find your input would be appreciated.

One note, this board is by far the best I have experienced. Much thanks to those of you who have taken your personal time to assist me, that is a very thoughtful and kind gesture.......my search continues.

Cheers,
Brad

I might have been off on the diameter of the screw. Reexamining it makes it 1.42mm, which is closer to a M1.4: http://www.micronwings.com/Products/Scr ... ndex.shtml

Thanks for the info, I actually have such a laptop, may poke around for a few. Appreciate the link, that may be the easier way to go. Again, much appreciated!!
