Hi, I fitted my horizon Blackhawk and nimrod antenna , one on each channel and managed to test the range this gusty evening.
I found the range was only improved by some 100-200'
I have an idea what may be the issue but want to run it past you experts here on the forum.
I had the Blackhawk plugged into one channel and the nimrod to the other and flew out to about 1200' the video quality was good but distance not much better.
I turned the wifi off re charged it and swapped them around and flew out, the distance was worse about 900' and video quality poor.
I couldn't continue anymore as it was going dark.
My theory is that possibly one of the aerials wasn't connected properly , possibly the pigtail not clipped on properly and the unit was running purely off one aerial? Is this possible as it would explain why the distance isn't really much better?
