Problem updating

Hi All
I'm trying to update aircraft to firmware 1.08.0080 I have seen loads of people with problems but nothing like this
I have updated in past with no problems
I put din file into root of sd card insert into aircraft and turn on
The problem is it won't detect the sd card so won't start the upgrade
I have tried five different cards including two new and still no cigar
Any ideas ????

Double check my firmware installation instructions here to ensure you did not miss a step.

Pretty happy I followed all those steps
Another point my gimbal light never comes on or flashes and don't get a txt file
It's like it can't tell there is a sd card in it

Just a quick thought seeing as you seem to have done everything correctly - is the SD card slot working? If you take a photo will it write to the SD card?

It won't connect to controller now updated app so can't test that

Bollocks. I had an issue yesterday where I updated the RC first without updating the aircraft side. It wouldn't connect so I had to upgrade to 1.8 - but it went ahead as normal.

Why won't the app connect? It should even though the RC won't connect. You should still be able to take a photo?

If you've tried everything, maybe give this a go to help initiate the FW install process.

Just tried it oso but still no joy, my gimbal light never comes on
Wonder if the card reader or gimbal knacked
