Price drop Phantom2 vision plus

I have emailed DJI to see if this price drop will be credited to those of us who purchased from dealers. I just bought mine on Monday of this week. As for the reason behind the drop, I suspect it has to do with this little baby: http://store.3drobotics.com/products/IRIS

Had this been available when I was making my decision to buy, the Phantom might have had some strong competition for my dollars. It is shipping on September 15.
 
I agree it may be due to competition and/or other things as well, but I wouldn't attribute it to just one new Quad.

I dont believe its only that... A new phantom line should be on the way or something new between the phantom and the S900... :D
 
I received my vision plus last week but I did the order before sept 2. I just got the reply from my dealer (b&h) and they credited me the différence.
 
I bought my P2 from B&H last week as well and chatted with them online today. They credited me the difference straight away.

Well, so much for that.

This won't necessarily be DJI's decision on how to handle their customer base that buys through their dealer network. They could have this situation in contracts but I doubt it. In this case DJI direct is doing it, B&H photo is doing it, and I have ask DDM Racing who I bought from on the 7th. only 5 days ago. I would say they all will but will be doing so to take care of their customers as if they don't we would all switch over to direct or the other venders that do care about us. I would think if DDM thinks enough about their business and DJI customers to be a site sponsor here they will be stand up on this small matter.

I'll advise of DDM Racing's decision when I hear as I have wrote them this evening and attached my invoice.

Remember, if you bought one and there was a lets say 30 day return policy. Call and say you want to return it or get a refund for the change in price. I think they would give the refund, even though you might have purchased before Sept 2. I don't even understand why sept 2 was a cut off day. What that is 10 days grace. Not good, you guys need to fight, for the right, to fly. Good luck everyone
 
I am happy to say DDM Racing emailed me today and will be handling my credit !! yippi :D
