Preflight tip

Never considered this one. Did my normal pre flight, did a control stick start up and took off. My very fist maneuver off the ground was up and away from me. After reaching desired altitude, I release the right stick but the bird still flew forward. The insipid "fly away". No, the right stick was stuck forward a bit. Had to manually pull it aft. I think there must have been a grain of sand or something obstructing the mechanism.

Add stick movement to your preflight a if you don't already!

I typically get up to a couple of feet, go left and right, forward and back, but have never had one take off on my like that. Good thing to look for.

ps: I moved recently and have played nothing but my Tele for almost 2 months now. Time to pull out the Strat!
