Hi, folks. Glad I stumbled upon this site. I'm an old guy with a new toy. Doing "okay" so far; after two flights with my Phantom 2, I've only lacerated my arm once (First lesson learned: if it looks like it's gonna crash, let it!) and crashed it once. Here's a short clip of my first flight attempt, with the crash-and-burn at the end. ;D

I haven't given up on self-teaching yet, but I sure would like to get together with someone in my area who can help me learn how to get maximum use from it and it's versatility, preferably before I completely destroy this sucker. Hope someone nearby will give me a shout.

Kindest regards,

Holy **** that was funny as hell! Except for the crash.

1st find an open space.

I'm with ya, brother! That was my second lesson learned the hard way. The first was, "If it looks like the drone is going to crash and burn, do NOT try to play Randy Moss! (especially if you haven't installed the prop guards yet!)" lol
