Pre-Flight LED Sequence: 4 green, 1 rapid red?

Hi,

I have flown my phantom 2 a few times, always on GPS mode and have always had all green blinking before takeoff. Today, I had 4 slow green blinks with one rapid red blinking...does anyone know what this means??

I tried calibrating the compass a couple times but I would always eventually get green, green, green,green, rapid red. From what I have read it may just not be picking all the satellites, only a few?

I'm a newbie so I didn't want to risk flying it if there was something off, any insight would be great.

Are you running firmware 3.0+?

I'd check to see if that's one of the no-fly-zone status patterns.

Yes, after investigating more I have come to the same conclusion.

The area I planned to fly was within 7 km of an international airport. The rapid red flash was just indicating that fact. From what I have read, I would have been completely fine to fly.
