I just bought this DJI Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal for my Phantom 2. I have a bunch of questions.....
Right now I need to figure out where to get power for my gimbal. Do I take it from the P2 or buy a separate battery? If so, what is a good battery to get?
    More questions to come!

By the way.... When I supply power to the gimbal, does it go to its home position and hold that camera straight ahead as I move it?

The gimbal is powered through the grey (zenmuse) cable that comes out of the one leg on the Phantom.
That controls it,powers it and feeds video through it.

Zenmuse cable goes into FPV hub and then a short lead from that to the gimbal.
Mini iOSD plugs into front canbus port and then a short lead into FPV hub.
Transmitter mounted on back and powered from FPV hub (red and black) as well as getting video (yellow and black) from it.
This is a no soldering option.
