The press loves to freak people out. Here's the forecast from NOAA:

By approximately mid-day on day 2 (13 Jun), a possible
glancing blow from the 10 Jun CME is expected to cause an enhancement in
the geomagnetic field, with a chance for G1 (Minor) geomagnetic
storming. By day 3 (14 Jun), conditions are expected to remain enhanced
as CME effects persist along with the expected arrival of a second CME,
associated with a C9 flare on 09 Jun, by late in the period.

...and...

NOAA Geomagnetic Activity Probabilities 12 Jun-14 Jun
Active 15/35/35
Minor storm 05/30/30
Moderate storm 01/15/15
Strong-Extreme storm 01/01/01

I wasn't suggesting anyone freak out, but even a "glancing blow" from 3 major CME's is enough to disrupt GPS signals and it's making fairly mainstream "internet news" channels so.. worth mentioning is all :)

yea yea you folks in your fancy-*** ATTI mode don't really have to worry about it so this isn't for you... this is for the large portion of the population here who stick to Phantom mode.

no harm in spreading information

LOL.... What do you have, a kite? :D

I am a noob. I actually didn't know they didn't all come with ATTI. Mine also has Turbo Boost.

I guess I need to learn more about space storms..... Thanks.
