Here's something I filmed with the help of some software we wrote for auto-subject tracking.

We recently built something for Phantom 3 and Inspire and we've been talking to folks about it here. Sorry I don't mean to cross post but I couldn't resist it :)

I think auto subject tracking is a great idea, I'm having a bad time trying to get a good video of my dog or a horse

That look absolutely amazing, the ocean is so blue! I'm gonna try to get a good video of the Cotopaxi volcano, not close just you can actually see the volcano, I think would be great

That's really cool! Is it something that the subject wears? I'd thought this was a great idea for Phantoms/Inspires. A la the Lilly, only better. Definitely interesting, and something I'd be interested in.

nope you don't need to change anything about the subject. We just use things like contrast, lines and colors to track totally arbitrary stuff. You can check it out more in detail on our site : Vertical - EPIC Aerial Filming

This looks really interesting! I'm into video production and we fly mostly DJI products such as the Inspire and the Phantom 3 because of its ease of use. Is it too late for me to sign up for the beta test?
