I forgot I was using Course Point and crashed my brandy new P3S on XMAS Day! I'm in recovery mode and need some info. I replaced all broken parts except for the Yaw Motor which I am waiting for (ribbon ripped), and pushed the pins back in on the 8 pin connector at the gimbal end which had ripped out. I must not have pushed a couple adjacent pins in far enough and they shorted out on each other and melted a little. I now have to replace that 8 pin, grey ribbon cable that goes into the body of the craft. Beyond taking the cover off, do I need to remove the mother board also? please tell me this is as simple as cover off, unplug, plug in new one, push through slot, connect to gimbal. I'm not into pulling motors and taking the mother board out am I?
