I am relieved to see that article! They've just been bashing us lately.

When someone calls my quad a drone I will now politely respond back with "recreational drone"

Try to eliminate the word 'drone'.

UAV, Multi-rotor, Quad... these are less threatening.

Unfortunately that's not going to happen. Drone is too easy and sounds cooler to the uninitiated.

i always use the term quadcopter. Never drone, drone sounds too serious. Quadcopter sounds more like a toy.

I know right? Unfortunately I check them for news and heard way too much about it. I do hope they eventually find it like the plane that crashed from Rio to Paris.
