How many of other phantom users affected by the J Hooking , TBE caused by the compass problem on the phantoms want DJI to release the 3.05 firmware already. It's beta but it does correct the problem drastically. If we don't speak up DJI won't be releasing the fix for a few months more. It's already been 4 months and no fix has been released to the public only to the beta testers and they are happy because they are flying their phantoms without the problems of J Hooking and TBE. DJI should release the fix to all of us and if we want to download it than we do at our own risk and if we don't want it than we don't down load it. DJI in the past has released firmwares and made their tweaks to the firmware while it was out to everyone.
So if your thinking the fix is going to be released soon it's not because DJI is giving a second beta firmware to the testers to try and than report back than DJI does what ever and we are looking at a few more months before the general public gets the fix that is already working !!! It's not going to be perfect. So I'm asking others to join me in continuing to put pressure on DJI and the beta testers to release the current 3.05 firmware .
Thank you

Lenny, this is simply stupid. At best, you are wasting everyone's time. At worst, you are hurting what has been a substantial effort to which you have thus far contributed nothing. Simply put, your assumptions are all wrong. Please quit trying to undermine the effort I started before you were even a member on this forum.

It's very common for companies to test pre-release versions of software (even patches) in a limited controlled environment like this, sometimes through multiple versions. Making the test versions available on a wider scale before that's completed, even when the end-user accepts all "risk", can be counter-productive to the testing process overall.

What you may not have enough perspective on is the fact that even this is a HUGE step forward for DJI in terms of responding to customer issues. While every single owner who is affected by these symptoms would love to have ANYTHING right now that might address the problem, for now most will have to make do with the knowledge that it's not only in the works but the process has brought with it unprecedented visibility and active communication from DJI.

The alternative is that they could have handled it as they have for most every update of every product they sell...by just continuously feeding promises of "we're working on it" with no indication of the progress and little or no input from the user base.
