If your 4K footage is shot 3840 x 2160 in 60fps you have to change the frame rate to 30fps (3840 x 2160 in 30fps). So if you don't change the frame rate all 4K/2K footage in youtube will be 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps.

I'm looking at it now. My setting is 3840x2160 60fps. So changing it to 30fps will allow it to be displayed in 4K on YouTube? Actually, isn't 3840x2160 considered UHD while 4096x2160 is 4K? I believe that one will have black bars on the top and bottom (I don't want that)?

That's right. Just by changing the frame rate from 60 to 30fps will work. Now i cannot say the same for the higher 4K resolution 4096 x 2160 so give it try but at 30fps. Normally i will take 4K and down-rez it to 1080p because it is of much higher quality then then HD footage and there are not a lot of producers interested in 4K footage unless there isn't an alternative available for the same scene..

Help me understand. There is now no more need to change 60fps to 30 because Youtube supports 4k 60, correct?
