What are these car chargers people are on about?
There are car chargers that will plug into the lighter socket and charge one at a time, there are inverters that convert 12 V to 120 and a regular charger can be plugged in, I used a small generation for my batteries in the field and plug a 3 battery charger into it.

3 is the perfect number for me. Usually it is endless flying with 120v power around. I can't imagine having so many batteries, they are worth more than the entire P3P setup ? Some voted 9 and 10+, and I see 12 and 15 in the replies?

This has probably been answered elsewhere... but how many batteries can you go through in a day's flying before your controller runs out of juice anyway?
