Pilot app won't connect

Haven't had any issues in a couple of months of flying..until today. Installed my UAV Bits this afternoon and that went smoothly but wanted to take the craft out and watch it a low altitude to make sure the motors were all working properly and no alignment issues. Everything is fine but the app (ver 1.2.0) won't connect. Shut everything down, tried again and then a third time and app won't connect. All the signals on the craft see to be fine (gimble tests, gps is fine) and I'm able to get the usual control from the RC and able to control motor speed. Just can't get the app to connect and don't want to fly until that's running.

Any suggestions why after no issues I'd have a connection problem? No settings changed on the controller, craft or iPad.

****...a week goes by and I forget the most important thing...the cable. I don't mind loosing my mind but I'd really mind loosing my P3...so glad you mentioned that..lol.
