Pictures are out of focus but video is not.

I just got back from getting some footage and my video looks good. Pictures are out of focus. I have not had a chance to investigate much...what should I look for?

I found out the picture was shot in 100 with f2.8 at 1/1200 the light was about an hour before sunset and blue skies with some darker contrast areas. Would this be the reason for the out of focus images?

Those settings wouldn't affect focus. If you had shot at a slower shutter speed, I might have suspected that the blurring was not focus, but motion induced. Double check the settings, 1/1200 seems pretty high late in the afternoon with an ISO of 100. Might post a picture too.
