Are you looking for the OEM P3S mobile device holder? If so, DJI sells them here.

Yes that is the one. I was just confused that one seems to be aluminum and the one i am replacing is plastic.

I would think that the aluminum type should be more rigid than the plastic one that came with the P3S. Is this correct?

When I got my P3S, mine was aluminum (like I linked above). It works fine if you're using something about the size of an iPhone.

Using an aluminum arm and replacing the clamp to another that can take a full-sized tablet, can I put an iPad Air and have its bottom edge resting on the RC for support?

Sorry to restart a thread but I do have a question. If I get the inspire holder will it work on the STANDARD remote with out drilling or otherwise modding the RC?

Yes. You have to get the correct setup as many of us on this forum did a couple weeks ago. All of this below was with no drilling what ever. Took about 15minutes to set up.

With this specific holder you will have to put in on current position. Which will get in the way of the antenna.

Wouldn't it just fit on the rail.. Similar to old one?

Yes. But when you move it around its in the way of the antenna. If you need to rotate it.
Not the rail but the inspire holder

I only said that as I found that original flimsy at best. It was moving even when screwed in. My tablet which is not heavy. iPad Air was constantly moving. It was very tight. The. I switched holders.
