Philae Lander has landed on a Comet !!!!!!!!

You sure that wasn't Inspire1 landing? :lol:
 
Amazing that they can get the probe, the size of a washing machine, to land on a comet only 14km wide, 500 million kilometers from earth, travelling at 66,000km/hr.

And this is after it had already travelled 6.4 billion km around the Earth and Mars several times to get up to speed to slingshot itself towards the comet.

Absolutely mind boggling precision.

Can you imagine the minds that were able to calculate this and actually pull it off? We humans are a lot smarter than we look...
