Graffiti painting drones are not a new thing. The maker of the first graffiti drone, Leif Johnson has created another KATSU “Icarus Two”. This one can write letters that have been entered on a keyboard. It, “holds”, a spray paint can in an articulated arm.

It is not a particularly elegant solution, the DJI Phantom simply flying up to the wall to be painted and stopping when its prop guards hit it.

The Anti-Trump Grafitti drone will attract clicks today, but is there a serious use case for drones and paint?

I can't put the proper URL in as his name shall not be spoken here ;-) It's on the frontpage of http://www.suasnews.com

I will allow this post IF it doesn't turn into a political debate...
the story is about drones and painting.

*His name is censored due to political ranting and this is not the place for it.

Hmm.. I could envision a use for painting bridges, lighthouses, other tall structures...

Somebody else said putting WD40 into places hard to reach. I think there is a future for building maintenance and it is not far off. Thanks, LuvMyTJ BTW
