One thing that DJI should do is to have some kind of unique identification system with each unit.
Perhaps something like a VIn.
This could be stamped on a metal plate and attached to the outside of the bird.
As a dealer sells a bird, the name is recorded into a database.
When found, finders could be instructed to check a website, enter the VIN and find out quickly who the owner is.
Or have the dealer's name and website info on a sticker.
For those of you who own phantoms, at least attach a sticker with your name and phone number.
