Phantom Flight Time Before and After

Hello I want to share with all of you some changes I did to my Phantom V1.1.1
This is before:
- Stock Battery from DJI
- Props Guards
- New TS-351 5.8G 200mw AV Video fpv TX Transmitter
- T type Carbon Fiber Landing Gear
- Tarot Gimbal

Ok with all this I was getting 4.5 minutes of flying time.

Now,
I took the advice of taking the props out and then I bought this new Battery:
PULSE LIPO 2200mAh 11.1V 25C for DJI Phantom
Price: $22.99
Voltage: 11.1V
Cell Count: 3S
Capacity: 2200mAh
Discharge Rate: 25C
Charge Rate: 5C
Dimensions: 106mm x 33mm x 25.5mm
Weight: 200g


Now I got 6.2 minutes of Flight time and now Im :shock:

May I ask how heavy the whole thing is? 6min is horrible...

Try a Mad-dog 2700 battery for better performance & duration. It's a direct replacement for your 2200's & you'll get better flight times.

mad-dogs are a bit heavier then stock batteries.
However, with a similar setup -

no prop guards
stock props
mad-dog battery
walkera gimbal +gopro 3+
FC40 cam velcroed to the battery door (FPV)

I get 7:30 before the LED flashes red.

That *may* get increased a tad when I get the vision props
