Hello I wonder if someone could give me some advice.
Took off as normal. Ascended to approx 40mtrs. Just hovering and panning around when P4 fell approx 20mtrs. I managed to regain control and land.

When I play the flight back I notice that the altitude is all good but when it dropped the altitude then showed -20mtrs when it was still in the air?

Signal was good, no break in video 17 sats. Is this down to IMU or something?

I look forward to any advice or comments.

Did you calibrate compass prior to flight?

No gimbal guard. And yes compass cal before I flew. Just a bit worried for my next flight!

More internet lore.
Compass determines heading referenced to the Earths' magnetic field.

There is no elevation component to it.

I have a similar problem. But mine does not drop that much. Service told me to send it in because we agreed that it's most probably a problem of the barometer.

I just flown again. 2 flights ok. 3rd flight moving along slowly at at approx 3-4mtrs. (Following old railway line) then altitude shows dropping drone physically did not. But by end of flight showing altitude at landing of -8.5 mtrs? I called IMU before take off and did compass cal prior to flight.

assistant2 and do a manual calibration on sensors that worked for me

I have not had chance to fly again since calibrating. Will update as soon as I get chance to test.
