Phantom Beeping - not the controller/transmitter

During my 3rd flight of all time, my Phantom started blinking solid red and I was able to soft land it safely. I thought it was a low battery signal and proceeded to charge the battery. Now, after turning on the transmitter, and I plug in the 'charged' battery I get a flashing red LED and a constant beeping from the Phantom craft. Any Ideas? - Newbie

Pull the plug from the compass. My compass failed and that worked.
