Hi,

I have broken one of the two antennas coming down the Phantom's legs. Would it be possible to re-join the antenna wire with a small piece of solder?

It seems to be of a different material than what is usually found in cables/wires so not sure if solder would be the correct option?

Thanks,

Dave

One of my mods is a cloverleaf antenna.
When doing the mod I broke one of the connectors to the 2nd antenna.

As the cloverleaf antenna mod didn't work out so wel that time, I removed the mod again , and after that I've been flying for a long time with just one antenna and had no problems whatsoever.

Btw. I'm now back on the cloverleaf antenna only ( 2nd antenna still missing).

Cloveleaf antenna for the transmitter control of the Phantom? How does that work...

I'm sure it's affecting me, as I had a RTH engage at a very low range recently after this broke.

The cloveleaf's are on both RC and P2V.

Ahh okay, so it's a p2v with 5.8 ghz for control.

I am referring to the original phantom with 2.4ghz control.
