I am trying to fix my Phantom 4 Pro's broken Yaw Arm and Flex Cable. I have found those two parts online for less than $100 together. I have asked a few questions about this repair and I have been told by two people that doing any kind of flex cable repair on the Phantom is a waste of time. They say the repair is extremely difficult for even veteran techs and I should instead replace the $700 Gimbal and Camera instead.

Is this true? Anyone have any experience doing the repair that I am talking about?
