Hello!

I just got my Phantom 3S back from DJI, they have replaced a motor. And now when im flying im only getting to 150m then it loses signal. Before i sent it to DJI i could get to about 350m.

So i have tried a few things, i have re-linked the aircraft and the controller, i have re-updated the firmware and i have flown with it at two different places. I will try a older firmware version today. But if that doesent work do you guys have any ideas what the problem might be?

Try maybe flying in an area with not obstacles. Do you have the parabolic antenna?

The thing is that i am flying at the exact same position as i did before i sent the drone to dji. And i dont think i have the parabolic antenna, i have the controller with one antenna.

I just installed a older firmware version and now i could reach 250m but its still not as it was before. And after this i tried to install the newest version and no i only came 120m so it might be firmware related? But its one more thing, when im flying forward the drone can sometims lose signal for just a second and then it makes that twitching movement when you let the sticks go and the gps takes over.

I only get 730m with Argtek antenas and Magic Power 27 dbm - ch13, flying regular density area...

Someone could get better range with this condition and configuration

are you in fcc area or ce area? i have a standard and best distance to date is 2050m with a windsurfer and magic mod.

i see sweden is ce i think, i fairly new to thr magic power mod but i believe it will dramatically increase you range being in ce area

real easy to change back to default settings, dont see why it would void warrenty as it wouldnt leave a trace uninstalled.

Welcome to the Forum!

This remote control signal thing is on the rise again these past couple of weeks. (Third time in the 18 months from my memory)
Yes it should be working as same as it did before.
Did you send the remote with it?

Here is some recent stuff..

Yes i sent the controller too, and i got some papers back that said it passed flight test. This log file is it hard to find or do i just connect the drone to my pc and get it from there?
Do you think it got something to do with the firmware or something?

I think it is defective and you need to send it back.

Fight log is your mobile device.

There are some basic instructions on the link.

I use a Andriod device, and here is the log Phantom Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com

Okey i will contact retailer that i bought it from if its defective, i really dont hope so because i bought it in January and had it for a month and then i had to send it back because it was something wrong with a motor.

Don't fly it, I think you got a DJI-GO app bug that screws your home point it was only on an android.

What version of the DJI-GO app do you have.
