Horses for coarses..... if I want aerial, Phantom 3......if I want action, Gopro...... if I want best quality stills, Canon SLR.... I don't understand why the P3 is getting bashed because the camera wont come off, each camera has is limitations, I for one love the fact the the P3 will come as a complete integrated package and I can use the Gopro or Canon when the situation calls for it....... even all at the same time.....
That's fine, that's why there were two camps (vision/+, non-vision) until now. Many of whom switched from V to NV. I'm just saying that if there is no GoPro option than I have no reason to upgrade. The ground pattern sensing and HD are nice, but HD downlink isn't of much use and requires a pricey tablet, the pattern sensing will in my opionion be cloned to work on P2 sooner or later.
Count in DJI's bad support, failed firmware and battery problems, it may just make more sense to wait and see what 3DR does in terms of addons and price range.
Jumping on the P3 bandwagon seems premature to me at this point.
