    Good morning Harrissment.

Flying in the UK requires a max height AGL of 400ft/120m and max horizontal distance of 1,500ft/450m. In each case you must be able to see the quad without the aid of binoculars or FPV goggles etc.

Our American cousins report greater distances with the aid of amplifiers and third party software, but they have a bigger, less populated (per square mile) country to explore.

Fly safe and sensible, and keep posting

You can just turn the Alt/Distance limits to "OFF" give a warning message when you turn it to OFF - but then it will go higher and further but your then limited to the RC range then which is about 800m here in the UK as this can't be altered. But the CAA 500m or 1600 feet is far enough for me LOS
