Well I made it 5528 feet with my Argtek Range Extender. Before the mod I made it 3897 feet so I increased by 1531 feet not bad so far.

Dougsteph you should be getting 2 miles easy without any mods. I was getting all most 4000 feet before antenna mod.

Made it to 5806 feet from 5528 today an improvement of 278 feet further. That is all without line of sight and in town. Will test the Argtek range extender tomorrow outside of town and clear line of sight for miles.

Made it to 5806 feet from 5528 today an improvement of 278 feet further. That is all without line of sight and in town. Will test the Argtek range extender tomorrow outside of town and clear line of sight for miles.
I believe it will go far. You should be able to pump 6,000 feet out of it easy with no interference and if you go 3 panel antenna that's how you get the best distance (you just have to keep controller pointer RIGHT at your drone though)

I used all three longs antennas today. Lost actual sight of the drone at 2500 feet. So I guessed the direction to aim the controller. Tomorrow I will go outside of town where I can see way off and try the 3 square panels!

How did you get 3897 feet without any mods? I've never even made it to 2000 feet with my P3S.
