Phantom 3 standard 4.18 Miles! Update! Now 6.08 miles

Welcome to the long-range club cruizer! Because you have the FPVLR bracket, you can drill a hole in the middle of that bracket and easily attach it to a tripod that makes aiming 6 mile runs really solid

Here's my set up

made my best run with my Phantom 3 standard today!
Made it back with 30% batteries
Had a head wind going out. I think it will do 5 miles on a calm day
I have the same setup, only 1

Wondering if you can answer a
Antenna was from DBS mods
Amps from fpvlr.com
Batteries from FPVcustoms
I modded a FPVcustoms antenna mount to use the DBS flat panel
These picture only show one 2.4 amp but I am running two 2.4 amps one 5.8 amp
And two battery packs
This setup works!
I believe even though I'm running external batteries that the batteries are going to be my limiting factor. I still had full signal strength at 4 miles

Cruizer do you get a the blue blinking light on the 5.8 amp. On mine I get a solid blue light and am wondering if its working right. Don't want to take it on a long flight and have problems.

Do you think bringing both the 2.4 and 5.8 antennas from inside the quad to Entermal upgraded antennas would add much more range?

I have a simmilar setup on the controller but with the cheaper Argtech and the boosters.
I fly around town but getting 2 miles is a challenge.
I haven't flown yet but I have added two 2.4 6dbi antennas external to the quad.

Had to buy a new camera, dang thing didn't come with a plate mount.

Might as well do the same to the 5.8 if anyone has went that route with positive results.

Thanks!!!
