Got my Phantom on Friday and have been playing around with it since. Went to take some aerial shots of my aunt's house today (she's having some construction work done) and there was strong interference. I kept getting to a certain height and the signal would just drop from full to nothing. I've previously flown it much higher/further with no issues so i know its not faulty. There certainly is potential that due to the environment there may have been wifi signals which i assume has caused the problem here (?).
Anyway, my question is can i still take pics/record video when i don't have downlink? I seem to remember that in the app the shutter button was greyed out, is that the case and is there any way around this? I guess if you start a video and lose downlink the video would keep recording?
